Prof. Gari Clifford, Emory University
Prof. Clifford is a professor of Bioinformatics at Emory University, after holding positions at the University of Oxford and MIT. Gari serves on the international advisory and editorial board of several organisations including the NIH Public Access Resource, PhysioNet, and the Institute of Physics' Journal of Physiological Measurement. He is the founder and director of Kellogg College's Centre for Affordable Healthcare Technology and a co-recipient of a recent Wellcome Trust Centre grant to establish Oxford University's new Sleep, Circadian and Neuroscience Institute headed by Professor Russell Foster.

Dr. Xu Liqun, China Mobile
Dr. Li-Qun Xu joined China Mobile in May 2010 serving as the Chief Scientist of its Research Institute (CMRI). He now leads primarily the R&D activities of CMRI's in the emerging mHealth technology, applications and service area, responsible for setting the viable business strategy, establishing core research competence in related disciplines, and building an open, scalable and intelligent platform for delivering end-to-end mHealth services in collaboration with various solution providers and healthcare professionals in the value-chain, while leveraging CMCC's huge customer base, ubiquitous network coverage and multiple networking capabilities. Dr. Xu holds over 20 EU and international patents, plus numerous Chinese patents pending.

Dr. David Clifton, University of Oxford
Dr. Clifton is a member of faculty in the Department of Engineering Science of the University of Oxford, a fellow of Mansfield College, Oxford and a fellow of Kellogg College, Oxford, and a lecturer at Balliol College, Oxford. He is a Research Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. A graduate of the Department of Engineering Science in the University of Oxford, Dr. Clifton trained in information engineering and was supervised by Prof. Lionel Tarassenko CBE, Chair of Electrical Engineering. He is the Associate Director of the Oxford Centre for Affordable Healthcare (OxCAHT), and focusses on "big data" health informatics, this an interest in m-health applications in the developing world.

Maoyi Tian
Dr. Maoyi Tian is
currently appointed as the senior research fellow and acting head for the
primary care and population health research program in the George Institute for
Global Health at Peking University Health Science Center. Dr. Tian has been
trained as a biomedical engineer. He obtained his doctoral degree from
University of New South Wales, Australia and master degree from University of
Oxford, U.K. His current research is focusing on eHealth/mHealth for
cardiovascular disease prevention and management.

Dr. Nathan Greenleaf Congdon
Dr
Congdon is now a Professor of Preventive Ophthalmology at Zhongshan Ophthalmic
Center (ZOC) in the PRC. He has been a
senior advisor for ORBIS international in Asia since 2009, helping to design
and evaluate ORBIS' projects in China, Mongolia, Laos, Vietnam and elsewhere in
the region. He is the principal designer of two of ORBIS' largest programs in
Asia: CREST (Comprehensive Rural Eyecare Service and Training) and CHEER
(Children's Healthy Eye bring Educational Rewards), ORBIS' largest-ever project
(USD6.25 million over 5 years), designed to create a comprehensive model of
children's eyecare and educational services through a consortium of four
international NGOs and a network of local partners throughout Shanxi Province.
He has also recently helped to guide ORBIS' 5 year strategic planning in North
Asia.

Lijing L. Yan, PhD, MPH
She is currently an associate professor at the Duke Global Health Institute, Duke University in the USA and the Head of Non-communicable Chronic Diseases (NCDs) Research at the Global Health Research Center of Duke Kunshan University in China. Her main areas of research are chronic disease prevention and control (hypertension, heart disease, and stroke in particular), economic evaluations in health care, and integrated health management.

Dr Hua (Cathy) Ye
Dr. Ye is an Associate Professor in Engineering Science and heads the Tissue Engineering Group in the Institute of Biomedical Engineering at University of Oxford. Dr. Ye holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, China and a Ph.D. in Tissue Engineering from University of Oxford. Her research interests lie in stem cell bioprocessing (expansion and differentiation) and biomaterials and bioreactors for tissue engineering. Projects include engineering 3D human neural networks, smart bioreactors for cell expansion and 3D cancer model.

Dr. Shan Wang, Peking University International Hospital
Dr. Shan Wang is the President of Peking University International Hospital (will open by the end of 2014, beds 1,800) and the President of Peking University People's Hospital (95-yrs history, beds 1700). Dr. Wang's main research interests include surgical practice, medical education, clinical and related basic research, and modern hospital management. Dr. Wang has participated in major policy and protocol planning committees at the central government level; He has successfully completed 28 national projects and compiled 10 books. Dr. Wang has authored more than 200 papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been on the editorial boards of several academic journals. Dr. Shan Wang's active leadership in the fields of health, research and teaching has been recognized through numerous awards such as "Healthcare Reform and Innovation Star in 2013", "Outstanding Contribution Award-The Top Award in Hospital Management in 2012", "Innovative Leader in Healthcare Industry in 2011", "Excellent Hospital President of Chinese Hospital Association in 2010, "Price of Top Ten News Personalities of Healthcare Reform 2010", and "Chinese Physician Award" in 2009. |

Prof. Ling Feng,Tsinghua University
Ling Feng got her B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from Huazhong University of Science & Technology in China with the greatest distinction. Before joining Tsinghua University in Beijing in 2006 as a professor, she was on the faculty of University of Twente in the Netherlands as an associate professor (2002-2006), Tilburg University in the Netherlands as an assistant professor (1999-2002), and Hong Kong Polytechnic University as a lecturer (1997-1999). Dr. Feng has been in the area of data management for over 25 years. Her research interests include context-aware data management for Ambient Intelligence, knowledge-based information systems, data mining and warehousing, and distributed object-oriented database management systems, etc. As a principal investigator, co- principal investigator, or project key member, she has undertaken over 30 national and international projects in the Mainland of China, Hong Kong, Netherlands, and Australia, and published over 180 scientific articles in high-quality international conferences or journals. Her work in secure uncertain data management was patented by the Dutch Royal Philips and Nokia, respectively. Dr. Feng received the 2004 innovational VIDI Award by the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research, 2006 Chinese ChangJiang Professorship Award by the Ministry of Education, and 2006 Tsinghua Hundred-Talents Award. |

Dr. Angela Wang joined Neusoft in 1996, and now is Senior Vice President & Board Secretary of Neusoft Corporation. Dr. Angela Wang has been with Neusoft for the last 18 years and has extensive experiences in technology, business development and management. She started her career at Neusoft as a software engineer. From 2000 she had successively been Deputy General Manager of Neusoft Middleware Technologies, Director of Mobile Internet Division, and Deputy Director of Advanced Automotive Electronic Technology Research Center.
